Job Description:

Supply Chain Finance

  • Develop and implement supply chain finance policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Manage the supply chain finance function, including job work reconciliation & payments, costing, and inventory valuation.
  • Support integrated supply chain management (ISCM) for vendor due diligence and warehouse audits.
  • Ensure accurate inventory accounting and reconciliation with books of accounts.
  • Review and approve job work charges and outright purchase bills.
  • Ensure timely payments to vendors and compliance with statutory regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, operations, and finance, to ensure effective coordination and alignment of supply chain finance initiatives.
  • Analysis of working capital blocked in inventory at warehouse/Job workers/stores. Identify areas for improvement to optimize working capital
  • Monitor and analyze key supply chain financial metrics, such as days payable outstanding (DPO), days inventory outstanding (DIO), and cash conversion cycle (CCC), to identify opportunities for improvement and implement strategies to optimize working capital.
  • Support in supply chain risk assessments and implement risk mitigation measures

 

Vendor Management:

  • Streamline invoicing and payment processes with vendors, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors and negotiate favorable terms for financing arrangements.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements through effective vendor management practices

 

Costing & Inventory Valuation

  • Establish and maintain a robust cost accounting system to accurately determine the cost of products or services.
  • Develop and implement cost allocation methods and cost estimation models for various cost elements, including materials, labor, and overhead.
  • Maintenance of accurate Product / Process cost information. Scrutinizing entire Costing & Inventory ledgers, transaction accounting including movement of quantities and rates.
  • Ensure that all Service bills like Inward & Outward logistics, are properly verified and accounted as Accounts Payable in terms of quantity, rates, GST, etc. 
  • Ensure proper accounting of Purchases from customer exchange schemes and losses with respect to ERP valuation of product
  • Ensure completeness of all GRN & Purchases accounting in inventory ledger
  • Conduct regular cost analysis and variance analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve cost efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as procurement, production, and finance, to gather cost data and validate cost assumptions.
  • Support pricing decisions by providing accurate cost information and analysis.
  • Monitor and review standard costs and update them as needed to reflect changes in material prices, labor rates, or production processes.
  • Participate in product development initiatives to provide cost insights and ensure cost-effective design and manufacturing processes.
  • Develop cost accounting policies, procedures, and systems to support decision-making.
  • Support pricing decisions with accurate cost information and analysis.

 

People Management

  • Drive strong performance driven culture in the finance function by reviewing performance parameters and providing timely constructive feedbacks

Qualifications:
Chartered Accountant,MBA

Minimum Experience Level:
6-8 Years
