Job Description:

Job Purpose

To monitor, evaluate, and maintain the targeted production and quality in the preparatory section (dyed and greige) of worsted wool within the defined parameters of time, cost, safety, and sustainability.

Job Context & Major Challenges

• Fine and super fine Counts with this kind of technology & it is a very challenging task to operate Completely on such super fine counts range which requires precise machine setting & upkeep.
• Small lot and wide range of product mix is a great challenge to increase ring frame utilization at 96% level in Greige and 92% in Dyed section. And work culture is not conducive so it.
• Segment wise production planning and spin plan balancing is the major challenge to fulfill the Production and Quality Norms.
• To reduce manufacturing cost to that extent to remain competitive in the global market
• Bringing in a quality conscious work culture among workmen
• Selection of Raw material & Manufacturing process is concerned with quality and cost. Machine upkeep and department conditioned is a key area of delivering world class quality & productivity.

KRA1Production Planning & Control• Preparation of production schedule in coordination with PPC / marketing to meet delivery schedule with targeted m/c utilization rate.
• Identify the area of losses and taking corrective action regularly.
• Monitor final yarn quality w.r.t customer needs.
• Check the packages and control the same by varying the machine settings
• Monitor the imperfections and control the same by varying the machine settings & temperature-humidity conditions
KRA2Implementation of WCM and IMS• Assess the best manufacturers and compare existing quality norms / work practices to analyze the reasons for gaps in quality
• Prepare and organize trials for improvement in quality levels
• Implementation of IMS Quality management norms in the Spinning section.
KRA3Production Safety and Sustainability• Assess the best manufacturers and compare existing quality norms / work practices to analyze the reasons for gaps in quality
• Prepare and organize trials for improvement in quality levels
• Implementation of IMS Quality management norms in the Spinning section.
KRA4Ensuring Reliability• Drives subordinates to monitor and check the machine conditions
• Provide technical inputs and drives machine modification projects
KRA5Cost Optimization• Monitor and achieve manpower utilization
• Monitor and achieve total wastage through and manage recovery of raw material
• Monitor and Achieve machine utilization of spinning

Qualifications:
Bachelor Of Textiles

Minimum Experience Level:
4-8 Years
