Job Description:
Overview of the role:
Technical Manager (TM): Central technical resource who would primarily be responsible for supporting the business of waterproofing products by creating a differentiated training approach with a mindset of bring first-in-the-industry, lending technical expertise to external stakeholders, handling complaint escalations and being a strong technical pillar in new product development thus assisting in achieving overall business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Training
- Designing training tool kit for demos & product application
- Conducting training for top contractors in key geographies
- Analyzing the outcome, improvisation of the training module and replicating the success
- Business Development
- Connected closely with the top contractors
- Assisting in site conversion by digital means and guiding the local team
- Technical intervention at critical sites at pre-application stage for issue identification & resolution
- Complaint Resolution
- Handling escalation from Field Technical Team
- Visiting critical sites and proving credibility as a subject matter expert
- Brainstorming with R&D & implementing solutions
- Tech Support
- Query handling from all external & internal stakeholders
- Vendor and new product – technical evaluation for category creation
- Support in gathering technical product insights
Qualifications & Experience
- B.Tech. / Diploma in Civil Engineering with 8-15yrs of experience with at least 3years of field experience
or
- Have handled a similar role with relevant experience in the construction chemicals / waterproofing retail industry
