Job Description:
Roles & Responsibilities:
- To plan & execute new product/process development projects through technical expertise & project management skills.
- Plan and carry out scientific experiments independently and in collaboration with various stakeholders.
- Visit the plant/customer to gather information about the product and process.
- Create and finalize SOPs for experiments, process, and equipment
- Focus on workplace safety –
- compliance with safety guidelines
- Work with safety committee to maintain safe work culture
- identify Hazards, risks and update SOPs and practices.
- Identify equipment, specifications & vendors and coordinate as required.
- Demonstrate value to the business through project delivery and in alignment with the business leadership.
- Build technology competency at ABSTC by actively learning state of the art technology developments.
- Contribute to brainstorming and problem-solving sessions.
- Work seamlessly across ABSTC teams to provide solutions.
- Attend workshops/trainings etc. to develop in his /her area of expertise.
- Compile project reports in appropriate details for communicating to various stakeholders
- Drafting of patents/paper through appropriate literature/prior art search.
Must Have:
- Experience in planning and conducting experiments in the design, production & characterization of nanomaterials, in developing scale-up design of chemical processes with basic understanding of thermodynamics and reaction kinetics.
- Familiarity with lab equipment and proficiency with various material characterization techniques such as SEM, TEM, XRD etc.
- An optimistic outlook with a can-do attitude, able to work in a team.
- Relevant project handling experience in industrial setting will be a plus.
