Job Description:

Job Purpose: TiO2 category sourcing for the organization across multiple sites and across multiple SKUs. Develop strategies across diverse vendor base across the country. Ensure suppliers meet service, cost, delivery & quality expectations as well as providing outstanding value in product technology & supplier innovation

KRA's

Leading the purchase of TiO2 for the paints product and ancillary product segments. Conceptualizing & developing existing and new products Identifying alternate solutions to bring down overall cost of procurement without impacting quality. Develop innovative solutions for product protection and delivery through supplier inputs and technology Spearheading the new product development & launches with different shapes, material structures & pack formats. Identifying improvement of packaging material for existing products in terms of material structure, aesthetics, cost Conducting stability study; managing testing trials & validation. Defining Specifications, Stability Study, Quality Testing Parameters  One must have handled procurement of TiO2 from various regions and should have exposure to all import origins such as China, Europe/Africa, US Collaborating with QC, Product Development, Marketing & other Internal Stakeholders.  Deploy Quality plan and resolving quality issues Leading, training and motivating team members ensuring high performance and motivation
