Job Context:

 

The Corporate & Institutional Group caters to the short term and long term funding needs of the entire spectrum of business segment like large corporates, mid size business,small and medium ( ) enterprises and Corporate supply chains in the country. The is engaged in funding short term and long term needs via a suite of customized short and long tenured products. The Lending portfolio would include products like Working capital funding, Supply chain financing, Term loans, LC discounting and Bill discounting, Loan against Property/ assets, etc

 

The Credit Analyst is responsible for the following: 

  • Preparing new credit proposals / existing credit exposures which have a high degree of complexity and data volume. To get the credit proposals logged in with ZCM and highlighting the industry, business, financial, management and facility structure risk contained in the credit proposal. The role needs to bring out the collateral and other credit risk mitigation to aid decision / facilitate the approving authority to take decision on the credit proposal.
  • Improve the quality of credit evaluation to ensure the portfolio built is value accretive to all the stake holders of the company 
  • Protect from potential loss on the credit portfolio by detecting early warning signals of deteriorating risks and advising these to the Relationship Managers and senior management.
  • Contribute to the growth of business and work to high levels of customer service standards by ensuring that proposals under review are addressed within a committed timeframe without compromising on quality of the asses nt.  
  • Inculcating a risk culture across the corporate finance group (i.e.) the risk team, credit team and the sales team;
  • Provide all the necessary assistance to the business and risk heads to ensure audit of the CFG portfolio is completed to the satisfaction of the auditors and include the learning and recommendations from the audit into the credit / risk appraisal processes;
  • Provide information and necessary assistance to the ZCM - CFG for review of the portfolio 
  • Help in preparation of status of the portfolio to the Risk Management Committee for their review and guidance;
  • Assist in the budget process in terms of the estimating the NPA provisions and ensuring the provisions are made on monthly basis by constantly reviewing the exposure as to recoverability.

Chartered Accountant
