Job Description:

Job Purpose:This is a critical role in ensuring a seamless and bug-free user experience for all e-commerce customers across multiple brands and platforms, including Microsoft, PC, mobile applications, and virtual stores.

Job Context:

Context- ABFRL has wide range of digital commerce platforms across websites, apps, kiosks & chatbots.

This position is responsible for overseeing the testing of software features & drive the stability of the platforms. 

This role is responsible for ensure quality of various Frontend and Backend applications like UI, API, DB etc. also responsible for creating and executing test cases in partnership with developers & product managers which are used to shape. 

This role is also responsible to building automated/manual steps to measure ensure quality deliberatively to Cx.

Major Challenges:

  1. Involve on all project grooming and create test strategies and plan for projects and get this execute. 
  2. Drive incident/issues/bugs process of all Web, App & VS, for achieving high standards for quality and control it.
  3. Proactive communication and collaboration with relevant teams for requirements gathering project details Timely & ensure delivery of projects/issues with good quality.
  4. Create release notes/reports for all of the projects.
  5. Perform manual and automated testing of to identify defects, inconsistencies, and areas for improvement.
  6. Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project requirements and specifications.
  7. Conduct regression testing to ensure that previously identified issues have been addressed and that new changes do not introduce additional problems.
  8. Conduct thorough testing of e-commerce platforms, including websites, mobile applications, and virtual stores, to identify and report any bugs, glitches, or issues.

Product Deliveries and Quality

-Timely Requirement and Impact analysis of defects/stories for Quality Delivery.
- Ensure active participation in requirement gathering and raise right questions at the beginning of the project.
- Adherence for Test case Creation and Test cases reviews and execution.
- Implementing solutions for efficient handling of roadblocks.
- Ensure timely delivery by collaborating with all project stakeholders
- Provide correct & optimized estimates for Projects.
- Scope and implementation discussions of feature with Tech team to understand the requirements and testing Scope.
- No Missed QA P0 / P1 Live Issue for Project handling.
 - Keeping Track and timely closure of production issues.

Process and reporting

 

- Adherence to Process & Reports for Automation, QA and Project Deliveries to improve Tracking & Monitoring & look for opportunities for improvements.
- Effective Communication with stake holders at right time and ensuring transparency.
- Targeted release dates, Communication to stake holders, transparent and accurate planning.
- Build metrices to track performance of features/Releases
 - Monitoring and reporting of Post production Issues/Crashes.

Learning & Innovations

- Find out new skills/tools/techniques to implement in QA for better quality and optimization of time and resources to increase Efficiency, effectiveness & Quality parameters.
- Innovation: Outside of assigned activities some other interesting or useful stuff is done. This may include a new utility, presentations on interesting topics, a demo of a new tool or technology, etc.
- Oversee all aspects of quality assurance including establishing metrics, applying industry best practices, and developing new tools and processes to ensure quality goals are met and aim for High goals.
- Share & discuss the challenges and problems with team members and take initiatives and look for solutions

Qualifications:
BCA,Post Graduate

Minimum Experience Level:
3-5 Years
