Job Description:

Job Purpose: To provide HR leadership to the Greenfield Unit, Implement and institutionalize all basic HR Services/Processes, champion, employee engagement through focus on Talent Management, training and development, employee wellness: Quality of life etc., Maintain productive and harmonious Industrial Relations through workmen education and employee involvement to achieve optimum productivity. And to provide direction and execution of the Corporate Social Responsibility Plans.

Supporting Actions/ Tasks       

Human Resource Management Prepare HR plan for the Unit and initiate, coordinate & implement all people processes in Unit.

  • Develop & implement appropriate HR plans aligned to the Unit strategy. Plan, organize, implement and review the human resources systems and initiatives, administrative procedures Tale all necessary steps to build performance culture in the unit. Keep abreast of the Group people policies, processes, procedures and initiatives, and implement the same in the unit. Ensure proper development and utilization of human resources of high employee satisfaction and productivity

Recruitment & Selection Ensure selection and recruitment of talented personnel.

Reviewing manpower requirement of different Department. 

Selecting, recruiting and onboarding the right people as per hiring needs.

Training and Development-

To design, organize and conduct training programmes and guide and support the subordinate in planning and co-ordination of all training activities.

  • Identification of employees training needs through skills gaps analysis and provide training for skill enhancement.
  • Organize and conduct training program in line with Training Calendar. Plan and Review Training Calendar.
  • To administer ELM module of Poornata
  • Organize and drive Build Tech trainings, adoption of Rally, Gyanodaya program nominations.

Talent Management - Plan, organize and implement talent management of employees in order to identify and recognize the talents and ensure their development through continuous monitoring and review.

  • Planning for talent management activities including potential assessment, preparing and conducting unit Talent councils
  • Support in Development of IDPs
  • Ensure and drive employee movements
  • Support the development of young Talent
  • Create Succession plan and identify and develop successors

Organization Structure, Manpower planning, Job Analysis/JDs

Assist management in preparation of organization structure, amendments and manpower rationalization. To plan, organize and co-ordinate Job analysis for all staff category as per the organization structure, to improve teamwork, attain higher productivity, right sizing of manpower 

  • Develop ideal organization structure.
  • Ensure appropriate amendments as per charts.
  • Manpower Planning.
  • Ensure placement of right employee on right job.
  • Prepare and update Job descriptions from time to time
  •  

Performance Management and Establishment - To plan, organize and ensure establishment, Poornata project implementation, performance management and compensation timely as per the requirement.

  • Training on the performance management systems and processes

Drive MDP Adoption in the unit

  • Compilation of appraisals and consolidation
  • Preparation of recommendations
  • Management approval
  • Compensation distribution
  • Drive PIP process : Identification of the sub-standard performance and development of IDPs and follow-up

Employee RELATIONS Ensure peaceful and harmonious relationship with workmen to enable Unit meet its uninterrupted operation plans.

  • Interactions with Unions on periodic basis to keep channels of communication open for addressing the issues from time-to-time.
  • Day to day interaction with workmen and handling grievances.
  • To arrive at Understanding & Settlements including VRS (if need so), etc.
  • Generating MIS on any issue arising and coordinating with respective departments for solving the issues. 

Disciplinary action wherever required.

  Organization        Development        Enable Alignment of people process of Group values, to build a performance driver culture

  • Support & Lead Vibes communication and      actioning in the unit 
  • Plan and implement policies & Processes that would help the unit to be a great work place 
  • Inculcate value orientation in the unit.
  • Drive key Reward and recognition programs in the unit

Qualifications:
Post Graduate

Minimum Experience Level:
8-15 Years
