Job Description:
Business:
CFI is 2+ Bn USD revenue business with 6 business P&Ls. Each business is handled by their respective CEOs who report to the CFI Business Head. CFI business includes chemicals, fashion, insulator industry verticals with global operational footprint in India, Thailand, Germany, US. This position is designed to help the Business Head strategically and operationally govern the businesses.
Background
Must:
- A Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in engineering (Chemical preferred)
- 3-5 years’ hands on experience in either customer facing roles like technical sales/business development, or process technology, or R&D.
- Experience in stakeholder management, program management.
- Affinity to work with power point, excel, think-cell and such tools.
Optional:
- A degree in Master of Business Administration
- 2-3 years’ experience in Strategy consulting, Internal Business transformation, Data analysis
Responsibilities:
- To work closely with the Business Head along with respective CEO on three core areas: Strategy deployment, Program Management for high priority items, Project execution & operational excellence to achieve business objectives.
- Strategy deployment: Provide support in deploying CFI short term and long-term strategy.
- Program Management: Lead programs on key initiatives from Business Head’s office working with the business teams.
- Project execution: Assess existing systems and processes to identify gaps and enable implementation. Enable execution for projects like operation excellence platform
- Ensure the Business Head is working on key priorities of the business, identifying key success metrics, and evaluating progress.
- Schedule the reviews and follow up on the actions from the meetings with the respective teams for action and closure.
- Internal & external communication:
- Support the Business Head in external events and industry bodies.
- Liaise with the communication team on the social media posts related to Business head and key business post.
Complexities:
- Stakeholder management spread over 6 business verticals.
- Intradepartmental and interdepartmental co-ordination for resolution of key issues.

MBA
