Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

 

1. Integrated Content Development

  • End-to-end responsibility to manage the internal news network to identify communication opportunities proactively.
  • Design, develop and deploy high quality content assets across external channels including social media and editorial media.

 

2. Media Relations

  • End-to-end responsibility for handling media queries and drafting media responses.
  • Identifying media opportunities (national, trade and regional), drafting press releases, maintaining updated media lists.
  • Responsible for coordinating with PR agencies and driving process compliance and enhancement for continuous improvement in agency deliverables

 

2. Digital Communication

  • A cutting edge understanding of digital media (website and social media) to identify suitable content opportunities to deliver corporate messages in an engaging and impactful manner.
  • Responsible for coordinating with digital agencies and driving process compliance and enhancements for continuous improvement in agency deliverables

 

3. Issue Management & Crisis Communication

  • End-to-end responsibility for corporate ORM (tracking, reporting, escalation and response).
  • Engaging with ORM agency and internal stakeholders to ensure suitable assessment and escalation of alerts to enable considered decisions on follow through actions.
  • Engaging with units and business teams on ongoing issues to ensure communication preparedness for issues.

 

4. ESG/Sustainability Communication

  • Provide content support for ongoing ESG and sustainability communication (content, stories, features and campaigns)

 

5. Thought Leadership

  • Support the Head of Communications to drive thought leadership for the company through authored media articles, white papers, blogs and case studies as well as participation in relevant external forums.
  • Identifying topics and developing thought leadership content on key focus areas for leadership team members.
  • Support the Head of Communications for leadership speeches and articles

 

6. Advocacy

  • Support the Head of Communication to design, develop and execute advocacy and media advocacy projects for the Company.

 

7. Corporate Brand

  • Support the Head of Communication to design, develop and maintain a distinct corporate identity for the company.
  • Periodic review of corporate identity guidelines and corporate communication assets (presentations, AVs, posters, etc.)



Qualifications:
Bachelor of Mass Media,Bachelors in MassCommunication

Minimum Experience Level:
15-20 Years

Senior Vice President
