Job Description:

Key Result Areas / Accoutabilities 

Supporting Actions

Accountability:Production & Quality:

Monitoring Cement Mill optimization for process operating conditions to achieve the targeted Production, Power & Quality as per dispatch schedule.

  1. Maximise the productivity by ensuring smooth and continuous operation of cement mill and Gypsum feeding. 
  2. To ensure quality maintained as per standard

3. Monitoring of mill wise power consumption and take corrective action to reduce power consumption. 

4. Ensure grade wise production as per requirement and correct change over of circuit ensuring product quality. 

4. Implementation of PM checklist in the section. – 

5.why-why & PM analysis for process break downs and take corrective measures. 

6.To monitor calibration of clinker / Gypsum / SSF offly ash weigh feeders.

7. Daily Trends review and checklist execution.

8. Cross checking of cement blaine whenever it comes abnormal. 9.Planning and monitor smooth changeover of cement grade as per requirement3

10. Monitor and ensure timely replacement of grinding media make-up charge.

 

Cost Control: 

Process expenses to operate in budgeted norms and implementation of improvement actions for cost optimization.

1.Implement the action suggested to reduce the variance after comparing actual and budgeted cost.

2. Use of grinding media within the budgeted norms.

3. Evolve schemes resulting in reduction and power cost.

4. Monitor false air and idle running of equipment and take corrective action. 

5. Ensure running of power saving equipment to optimize and reduce power consumption.

6.Initiate procurement of grinding media with shutdown planning to optimize idle inventory level.

7. making shutdown PRs and MRs.

Modifications and Improvements:

Identify areas for improvements, conduct focussed studies, and execution of proposals on modifications /improvements for Productivity Improvement.

 

1.Assist in data collection, analysis of data and implement

corrective action based on action plan. 

2. Analysis of data and feasibility study (Cost benefit analysis) by application of PM analysis.

3.Execute action for modification in new proposals. 

4. Process flow measurement and parameter cross check if found abnormal.

5. Identification of source of leakage and ensure corrective action.

5.Process Maintenance Jobs:

Implementation of various process maintenance jobs in coordination with other maintenance department to improve equipment availability

1.Grinding media top-up in time.

2.Chamber sampling for mill performance with Q.C.

3. Grinding media Optimisation. 

4. separator seal gap inspection, Roller press static gap adjustment and chick plate inspection, Cement ball mill internal diaphragm inspection work

3.Check availability of standby equipment by taking no-load trial and timely change over. 

4. Take maintenance of problematic equipment.

Focus on SHE (Safety, Health & Environment) along with Sustainability initiatives 

§ Ensuring 100% compliance of all safety standards and all applicable recommendations related to their concerned area.
§ Educating Staff, WB and CL Manpower to perform their jobs safely while improving their awareness on the Job they are performing, associated hazards and measures to perform the jobs safely while escalating unsafe acts and behaviors to their seniors.
§ Timely conducting scheduled SO round and Walk Through Rounds,ensuring reporting of accidents, incidents and near misses on occurrences in the area of concern in system.
§ Reporting all major and minor Incidents , investigation of incidents & closing all recommendations as per timeline mentioned in Incident Investigation Standard & Procedure
§ To conduct daily Tool Box Talk as schedule and before start the job any critical job along with SWP
§ Adhering of all safety precautions on the site and off the site
§ Achieving 100% compliance with Process Safety Management standard.
§ Active participation in safety training, safety sub committees, standard champions meeting and any safety event
§ Ensure good housekeeping, limited use of power, no leakage of water, oil, air etc and reporting concerned if any abnormalities for corrective action
§ Replicating good practice for saving environment for long run sustainability and creating awareness among manpower to save guard natural resources.
 - Preparing personal Safety & wellness plan in coordination with Managers and ensuring its 100% compliances

System Management:-
 (Implementing & monitoring effective execution of IMS and other systems in the Section for overall improvements towards productivity and creating safe work culture)

1. To plan & execute timely ABOEF process activities in respective Section like 5S, BCE, hygiene, Model area, illumination, good maintenance practices, visual & Lubrication management, QCDIPSHE performance, Kaizen, OPL, improvement projects etc for internal customer satisfaction.
 2. Review procedure requirements & recommend amendments for continuous improvement.

3. Actively taking lead in meetings for implementation good practices in improving  associated KFA and GRT performance and carry out internal audits to ensure effective implementation of systems  
4. To inculcate team for reducing repetitive nature problem, training other on tacit knowledge, adapting new technology, bring kaizen & improvement projects, adherence & develop preservation SOP's.
 5. Ensure proper implementation of IMS standards by timely updation of documents & control, reviewing standards requirements, taking corrective & preventive action against findings internal and external audit/assessments finding for timely closure for  100% compliance.

6.Develop Area owner ship culture.

7.CLIT for every equipment.

8.Dispaly critical work SOP at site.


Qualifications:
Bachelor Of Technology,Diploma

Minimum Experience Level:
4-8 Years
