Job Description:
1) Job Purpose |
Responsible for championing the use of his/her operation skills in making key operational decisions. The job holder bears the responsibility to foster value creation and hence improve the plant availability and efficiency by means of people management, analytics skills, stake holder management and technically know-how of Solar plant. 3) Job Context & Major Challenges(What are the specific aspects of the job that provide a challenge to the jobholder in the context of the Unit/Zone? | - To coordinate with OEM & O&M contractor and Connected Grid S/S on day-to-day operational activities for Solar power plant.
- To ensure safe work permits for any preventative or breakdown maintenance at site.
- To analysis plant performance on Daily basis for improvement of performance.
- To achieve the sustainability score of legal, safety and statutory compliances
- To coordinate the monthly JMR signing, ensuring proper coordination with state Discom and other compliances
- Conduct testing work towards operational efficiency of Solar plant
- Managing plant 5s’ and material management.
- Handled local people issues during transmission line maintenance work.

- Major focus on frequent occurring faults
- Conducting regular site audits to physically verify the condition of equipment.
- Validation of all diagnostics reports and keeping its timely track.
- Achieve the CUF & generation target set by the ABREL.
- Reduce the MTTR and improve MTBF.
- Perform preventive maintenance of entire Solar plant on time
| Analytics | - Analyze the Low PR/Generation reason.
- Analyze the thermography and IV Curve report for module issue.
- Regularly monitor the string BD and Inverter performance
- Perform the RCA for breakdowns
| People Management | - Cordination with OEM and other vendors to perform the routine operation activities.
- Ensure site is operational without any hindrance.
- Coordinate with local stakeholders
- Cordination with State Discom, SLDC & CEIG
| Innovation and value maximization | - Providing views and solutions to enhance the plant performance with more innovative ideas.
- Smoothing workflows after detailed analysis.
- Incorporating ideas for new projects based on experience.
- Exploring and implementation of new technologies.
- Exploring world class practices regarding the plant performance improvement
