1. Production - Operation of 100 TPH Coal Handling Plant to achieve budgeted power generation at higher efficiency. | 1. To maintain design coal size ~ 6 mm for complete thermal combustion in boiler furnace. 2. Coordination with maintenance & planning the feeding schedule. 3. Ensure filling of coal bunkers of both plants at an interval of 4 hours and monitor coal bunker level. 4. Monitoring of efficiency and performance related parameters, record deviations and plan corrective actions. 5. Conduct root cause analysis exercises for equipment failure and maintain records. 6. To ensure timely sampling of coal from coal yard and Bunker. |
2. Cost Reduction - To optimize Coal Crushing Rate and Auxiliary Power Consumption. | 1. To ensure minimum idle running hrs of plant and optimize capacity utilization of plant. 2. To plan and achieve proper mix and blending of coal for optimum boiler performance and minimum Coal Consumption. 3. To minimize auxiliary power by monitoring power consumption of each equipment. |
3. System Development - To comply with ISO Standards and implementation of ABG Operational Excellence Framework to make plant Model area. | 1. To ensure identification and implementation of Kaizens in the plant. 2. To prepare and close notifications in SAP (ERP). 3. To maintain MIS of plant. 4. Upkeep of systems in PowerPlant like IMS, Sustainability and Safety. 5. Maintaining the upmost level of Housekeeping by adhering to SOP in all the shop floors & daily follow up with the housekeeping check list |
4. Safety Standards - To improve Workplace Safety (WPS) and Process Safety Management (PSM) | 1. To maintain PTW and other safety compliance in plant. 2. To improve safety of plant by identifying and eliminating unsafe acts and Conditions. 3. To increase awareness about safety and reporting near-miss and taking corrective actions for the same. |
5. People Management - To identify developmental programs for improving the performance of individuals and plant. | 1. Maintain Discipline 2. Manpower planning 3. Identification of training needs 4. Effective Communication 5. Knowledge sharing with subordinate |
