Job Description:
Job Purpose
Aditya Birla Advanced Materials exports >80% of its annual production to EU/US/Middle East & SEA. To support services provided by Regulatory to a wide array of global customers, distributors, regulatory bodies, Only Representatives in various jurisdictions, and other service providers in regulatory field, this position acts as a dedicated resource to create required documents including MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet), TDS and Labels.
Job Context
Keeping updated information about global regulatory requirements, managing multilingual
customers, understanding chemicals classification, toxicological data of multiple substances
Maintaining an updated library of multilingual documents such as MSDS, TDS and Labels and make it available to users. Knowledge of the various key inputs including legislations required for creation of the required documents
Job Responsibilities
Registration of identified substances as per REACH legislation (Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals).
To collect information from open domain for REACH activities
To prepare documents & dossiers & timely submit them for preregistration, registration related activities for REACH to EU and Only representative.
Liaisoning with Only representative and communication along supply chain (product owner, logistics, customer, OR, regulatory agencies for REACH activities.
To track, understand, brief the management and timely respond to all new requirements & communications of ECHA for REACH.
To communicate with different consortium and submit the required documents related to REACH.
To support the Management in tracking the expenses incurred for consultancy and verification of man-hours spent by consultant.
To provide expert opinion, advise and support to other chemical business units in Thailand.
- Facilitation of product stewardship for epoxy resins and related formulations.
Updating the database and fulfilling customer requirement for MSDS in different foreign languages and other OH&S requirements.
Keeping track of latest RoHS, EH&S requirements of various countries of interest to ABCT.
- Regulatory Compliance
- To keep updating and understand new regulations.
- To co-ordinate with regulatory bodies to fulfill their requirement.
- To prepare and submit documents for compliance.
- Training & Development: Provide Training to scientific staff on REACH & related regulatory issues through In-house presentations.
