Job Description:

Job Context:

To develop and monitor all the central technical aspects of the chlor alkali business. To support the accomplishment of the technology and operation program goals. To understand the associated operational challenges and assimilate opportunities for effective translation into technology and operations improvement strategies. To establish reliable management programs across the business for plant reliability. To develop and maintain a mechanism for reviewing all critical processes guiding teams across all engineering. To evaluate, analyze & implement various schemes/reports for improvement in operational efficiency, and optimization of energy & utilities consumptions.

1.To meet business objective

 

  • Collaboration & facilitation of solving of repetitive problems
  • Design, develop & establish key operational procedure & processes
  • In the long run monitor parameters through Central Monitoring Station (CMS)
  • Maintain a dashboard

2. Coordination with units for completion of performance assessment improvement plan

  • Discussion with Technical heads for a required time frame
  • Preparation of road map for implementation
  • Coordinate units for relevant queries
  • Finding the adequate solution and to do handholding, if needed.
  • Monitor the progress of the road map as per mutual discussion with Units.

3. Study of technical journals research orientation to find what are the innovative solutions to address the chronic problems.

  • Going through generals and periodicals 
  • Surfing the internet for new technical advancement 
  • Get in touch with unit for discussion and consultation.
  • Discussion with CTEC head for implementation feasibility. 

4.  To identify, formulate, evaluate, and facilitate implementation of improvement   projects for enhancement of productivity & to optimize operational efficiencies in conformity with business objectives

 

 

  • Participate in the Chlor Alkali operations management processes.
  • Participate in the business strategy development processes for alignment of technical and operational excellence.
  • Develop the technology and operations program portfolio supporting the operations improvement strategies.

  • De-bottlenecking opportunities
  • Expansion opportunities
  • An integrated view of maintenance and operating excellence programs.

 


Qualifications:
Bachelor of Chem Engineering,B.tech+M.tech

Minimum Experience Level:
10-15 Years

Report to:
Assistant Manager
