Job Description:
Job Purpose
Planning, executing and monitoring of R & D projects entitled to Synthesis of Novel polymers, Resin modification, Coating & hardener Formulation, System Development towards Civil & Coatings application. The aim is to develop world class specialty and customized products with leading edge technologies and bring more revenue for the business. Providing solutions to Customers, Support to other departments like Business Development, Sales and Marketing, Purchase, Plant, QA etc. to maintain existing business
Key Result Areas
1. Synthesis & Formulation Development
- Carry out literature search to update with the recent developments & technologies and design the products for future demands.
- Implement new process and methodologies to achieve the product performance. Planning and prioritize the developmental works.
- To provide support while investigating customer complaints and implement through prompt technical services. Co-ordinate with analytical teams for method development as and when required.
2. Process Development and Scale up Operations
- Support in close monitoring of process and quality parameters. Maintain the documents related to method & process development. Coordinate with the scale up team in order to transfer the technology from lab to pilot scale.
- Delegate down the line to prepare Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) while considering safety precautions for scale-up activity.
3. Support QA for Raw Materials Quality & Specification
- Co-ordinate with Purchase and QA team to ensure received raw materials are in compliance with quality norms.
- To look for alternate raw material source in connection with purchase team to ensure uninterrupted production schedules.
4. Intellectual Property (IP) generation
- To review all product and process developments with DH to find opportunities for IP generation.
- To undergo the training programs related to IP.
5. Support in Planning, Budgeting & Cost Control
- Support in preparing annual budget in alignment with various R & D activities.
- Support in maintaining R&D expenditure for effective cost control.
6. Support to System Management
- Support WCM practices & other systems
- Implement audit reports and plan for improvement and carry out implementation
7. Safe & Healthy Working Environment
- Occupational health and safety procedures must be implemented thoroughly at the work area and ensure people are in compliance to safety norms and policies.
- Ensure that tools, equipment and machinery are in safe place and operate properly. Provide employees with the information, instruction and training they need to do their job safely.
- Regular monitoring and consulting with the employees about health and safety at work place. Ensure that all the employees at work place undergone safety training programs.
- Safe working practices should also be reviewed and emphasized with all employees on a regular and on-going basis.

M.Tech,Doctor Of Philosophy (Phd)

8-10 Years
