1)  Job Purpose

We are currently seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Business Intelligence Developer to join our P&F IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for development, deployment, and administration of various solutions, with, expertise in Hyperion (PBCS), Power BI, Power Apps, Sharepoint, Data Warehousing, Data Modeling, ETL and advanced data analysis. This role requires someone with a strong technical background in programming languages like C, C++, and Python,    raw data into actionable insights.

An iconic global leader, the Pulp and Fibre Business, is the oldest business of the Aditya Birla Group, envisaged in 1947. The business has a global leadership position in Man-made Cellulosic fibre industry (with 23% market share) and is one of the major contributors towards groups overall turnover and profits.

Its Viscose manufacturing facilities spread across 7 locations in 4 countries, Pulp Operations in 4 locations in 3 countries. 

The business has 4 VSF manufacturing plants in India (Nagda, Kharach, Harihar and Vilayat) under Grasim Industries Limited, 3 overseas - Thailand (TRC), Indonesia (IBR), and China (BJFCL). 

The viscose manufacturing is supported by backward integration with the pulp manufacturing facilities in India (Harihar), Canada (AV Cell, AV Nackawic, AV Terrace Bay) and Sweden (Domsjo).

1. Skills and Abilities

• Design, develop, and implement effective data models, reports, and visualizations using Power BI, Power Apps, and other BI tools to meet business requirements.

• Collaborate to gather and analyze business with stakeholder’s requirements, translating them into effective data models and reporting solutions.

• Optimize data models and reports for performance, ensuring quick access to critical insights and seamless data integration.

• Deploy, manage, and maintain reports to provide up-to-date information for decision-makers.

• Work with Agile methodologies and act as an intermediary between stakeholders and developers for seamless requirement gathering and analysis.

• Create and maintain project documentation, including BRD, SOP's, technical documents, and user manuals.

• Utilize SQL expertise to write DDL, DML queries for data extraction and transformation.

• Ability to migrate SSRS reports to Power BI service, ensuring a smooth transition of data and insights.

• Implement Row Level Security and create workspaces to ensure data privacy and collaboration.

• Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and standards to enhance project quality and efficiency.

• Maintain and Manage Apps.
• Adhere information security guidelines for prior & post deployment.

2. Skills and Abilities

• Proficient knowledge of Hyperion PBCS.

• ABAP and Hands-on development is key.

• Development experience in Power BI, Power Apps, Sharepoint, Data Warehousing, Data Modeling, and ETL.

• Advanced data analysis and visualization skills, creating impactful reports and visualizations for data-driven decision-making.

• Strong SQL skills, including stored procedures, joins, and functions.

• C, C++, and Python programming languages for data analysis and transformation.

• Familiarity with migrating SSRS reports to Power BI service.

• Strong understanding of agile methodologies and project management best practices.

3. Basis Administration and support

• Approve all the developments and monitor and approve all the transports to production server.
• Approve user access to business systems

• Adhere compliance to SLA (service level agreement) of all IT services provided by third party vendors. 

• In-time and quality delivery of service by third parties
