To provide quality medical care, emergency response, and preventive health services to employees and contract workers while ensuring compliance with all statutory and occupational health requirements under the Factory Act.
Deliver prompt and effective medical attention to employees and stakeholders during shift hours.
Attend medical emergencies and provide first-line treatment and stabilization.
Support periodic medical examinations and health surveillance as per statutory norms.
Maintain patient confidentiality and ethical medical practice at all times.
Maintain sufficient stock of essential and life-saving medicines and first aid materials.
Check and ensure the readiness of medical equipment and emergency kits.
Conduct periodic verification of drug expiry, calibration of instruments, and maintain stock records.
Conduct health education sessions and awareness programs on hygiene, disease prevention, and lifestyle management.
Support workplace inspections and identify health hazards with preventive recommendations.
Participate in periodic medical examinations (PME), audiometry, vision, pulmonary function tests, etc.
Maintain individual health records of employees as per statutory norms.
Participate in village medical camps and CSR health initiatives under the guidance of HOD.
Provide counseling and referral services for chronic and occupational illnesses.
Support health promotion campaigns like blood donation, wellness weeks, and hygiene drives.
Maintain accurate medical and occupational health records (Form 32, PME records, etc.).
Ensure timely reporting of occupational injuries and diseases as per Factory Act norms.
Support the HOD in preparing reports for internal audits and government inspections.
Conduct First Aid and Health Awareness training for employees and contract workers.
Periodically inspect and maintain first aid boxes across the plant premises.
Support awareness programs on women’s health, ergonomics, and mental well-being.
Ensure OHC operations adhere to company’s quality and EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) standards.
Suggest improvements in OHC processes and participate in quality audits.
Support ISO, OHSAS, and other certification-related health documentation.
