Manager - Audit & Payments

This person will have responsibility for:

1. Collaborating with stakeholders to negotiate favorable terms, conditions, and pricing for contracts.
2. Preparing accurate and comprehensive contract documents, including terms, clauses, and schedules, tailored to meet specific project or organizational needs.
3. Conducting thorough reviews of contract terms and conditions to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements and mitigate potential risks.
4. Managing all aspects of contract administration, including contract execution, amendments, extensions, and terminations.
5. Working closely with internal teams, such as legal, procurement, finance, and operations, to ensure proper implementation and enforcement of contracts.
6. Identifying and evaluating contractual risks and proposing risk mitigation strategies to protect the organization's interests.
7. Monitoring and assessing contract performance, ensuring that all parties fulfill their contractual obligations, and resolving any issues or disputes that arise.
8. Ensuring compliance with contract terms, conditions, and deadlines, and taking appropriate action to address any non-compliance issues.
9. Maintaining accurate contract records, including correspondence, amendments, and related documents, and generating reports as needed.
10. Ensuring Payments to Suppliers are given on time
11. Payment reconcillation and conduct periodic vendor audits at vendor places 

Desired professional qualities:

1. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; a master's degree is preferred; 
2. Proven experience in vendor management or a related role, with a minimum of 10 years experience in jewellery industry
3. In-depth knowledge of vendor management, contaracts execution, legal terms and regulatory requirements
4. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
5. Effective leadership and team management abilities
6. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
7. Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and precision
