Junior Engineer - Metallurgy(Birla Copper)

Carry out day to day maintenance of TG-6 and its auxiliaries, Boiler Feed Pumps, Oil Centrifuge, Vertical Turbine Pumps, Cooling Tower Fans, HP and LP dosing Pumps, as per guidelines of AH- Turbine House ( CPP-III-Mech). Check healthiness of equipment, physical checking and reporting abnormalities to AH-Turbine House (CPP-III-Mech). Daily housekeeping of area after completion of maintenance activities. Guide contract labours during execution of maintenance activities. Carry out 5S activities, implementation of Kaizen.

• No production loss due to Turbine House- Pump House- Cooling Tower ( CPP-III)

• Zero steam and water loss in Turbine House – Pump House- Cooling Tower ( CPP-III)

• ­Implement 1 Kaizen per month for Energy and water conservation in CPP-III

• Zero defect

Minimum Education Requirement

IDiploma (Metallurgy) First Class

Experience (In Years) 

3-5 years experience

Certifications 

First Class Or Second Class Boiler attendant (Optional)

1. Key Skills Required 

• Sound knowledge of all types of Micro Measuring instruments like dial gauges, Bore Guage, vernier, Slip gauges, Inside and out side micro meter.

• Maintenance Knowledge of Steam Turbine, Boiler Feed Pumps, Boiler Fans, Root Blowers, Vertical Turbine Pumps, Cooling Tower Fans, Gear Box

• Preventive Maintenance Rotating equipment.

• Maintenance knowledge of safety valves, high pressure gate valves, globe valves

• Maintenance knowledge of Centrifugal pumps.
