Cluster Manager - Axis BB - Angul,Odisha

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Cluster Manager – Life Insurance Sales to lead and drive business performance across multiple branches/locations within an assigned cluster.

The role involves sales leadership, team management, distribution expansion, partner/channel management, customer acquisition, and achievement of revenue and profitability targets. The ideal candidate will be a strong people leader with a proven track record of delivering life insurance business through high-performing sales teams and distribution channels.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and deliver the cluster-level sales, revenue, premium, and profitability targets.
• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to drive business growth across the assigned territory.
• Lead, coach, and motivate Branch Managers, Sales Managers, Relationship Managers, and frontline sales teams.
• Build a strong performance-driven culture with clear KPIs, regular reviews, and effective performance management.
• Identify opportunities for market expansion, new customer acquisition, and increased market penetration.
• Drive sales through channels such as Agency, Bancassurance, Direct Sales, Broking, and other strategic partnerships, as applicable.
• Strengthen relationships with key business partners and stakeholders to maximize productivity.
• Monitor branch-wise and team-wise performance and implement corrective actions wherever required.
• Ensure consistent achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual business objectives.
• Develop sales talent through structured coaching, field visits, training, and capability-building initiatives.
• Drive recruitment, onboarding, and retention of high-quality sales professionals.
• Analyse business MIS, sales funnel, conversion ratios, productivity, persistency, and other key performance indicators.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, regulatory requirements, sales processes, and compliance standards.
• Improve customer experience and ensure quality business with a focus on persistency and long-term value creation.
• Work closely with Operations, Training, HR, Product, and other functions to ensure smooth business execution.
• Represent the organization in key market and partner interactions.
