Job Purpose

Plan, coordinate , implement and maintain unified IT solutions for effective running of IT function.

Job Context & Major Challenges

Job context
With rapid and regular addition in capacity, the demands from IT infrastructure are also increasing correspondingly. Growth phase of the organization requires IT infrastructure to strike a balance between new initiatives, and providing uninterrupted support services for currently running IT.

For effective addressing of these requirements, it has been planned to have dedicated ‘Lead Infrastructure applications’ for maintaining existing software applications, implementing newsoftwares applications for Infra and managing infrastructure operations.

KRA11) Project Implementation &
Service Delivery
• Implement new infra software projects
• Monitor project implementation at all locations
• Ensure software developments as per agreed processes and quality standard
• Ensure timely delivery of programs changes
• Maintain the standardization across all cycle of development.
• Control implementation cost
• Assist Head ITIL in implementation & new initiatives
KRA22) Planning & Budgeting• Plan for new infrastructure software applications to improve enduser infra services
• Prepare annual budget for the project or services
• Monitor purchases against budget
• Review utilization of existing services & asses new service requirements based on previous year utilization and current needs
KRA33) Continuous Improvement• Ensure availability of applications as per SLAs
• Implement ITIL processes, procedures and define roles
• Develop reports to analyze calltrends to identify most common issues
• Create processes for classification of calls
• Ensure all incidents are catagorised and closed within timelines
• Resolve issues in call routing, whenever escalated by team executives
• Take logs of calls raised on individual applications and analyse trends to identify most common issues for the application support team
• Prepare weekly/monthly reports on helpdesk operations
• Evaluate new technologies
• Continuously improve system performance for keeping abreast with the latest technological advances and suggesting suitable deployment
KRA44) Customer Satisfaction• Conduct necessary training to IT people for effective utilization of software
• Establish & maintain regular written & in person communication with all stake holders regarding infra services
KRA5Virus Protection- Maintain Antivirus server and keep all desktops updated with AV
KRA6Sustenance of WCM/ISO activities- Co-ordinate with WCM facilitator for Information Technology Pillar

- Carry out 5-S activities, Audits related to IT Pillar
KRA7To maximize usage of IT to increase productivity- By educating the employees on the job and solving their day-to-day problems
KRA8Improve skill levels of employeesImpart training as per the P&As training schedule
