Job Description:

The role has primary purposes:

  • Manage and continuously improve the IT System, Infrastructure & Processes, and ensure these remain contemporary (including changes driven by external events such as E-Invoicing ,TCS,GST etc.)

 

  • Develop and implement Cyber Security & Disaster Recovery systems and protocols in conjunction with Corporate IT

Context:

Epoxy division of ABCT (Formerly Thai Epoxy & Allied Products Co., Ltd.) is only Epoxy manufacturing company in South East Asia. It was a joint venture of ABG with Nisho Iwai and Tohto Kasei of Japan. It started its operation in 1992 with a capacity of 10,000 MT. In the year 1996, the plant was expanded to 30,000 MT. New line was dedicated to solid grade epoxy resins. In the year 2000, this solid grade plant was modified to produce both solid & liquid grade epoxy resins due to market requirement. In year 2002, the unit entered into specialty epoxy resins with set up of pilot plant, Application Laboratory and Development lab. The specialty plant of 7500 MT capacity was commissioned in the year 2004. In 2006 the unit set up full-fledged R&D & Application Development Centre. It produces wide range of epoxy resins, hardeners and reactive diluents. The second specialty plant was commissioned in the year 2008.. New India plant of 72000MTA capacity was setup in Vilayat, Gujarat in Nov 2013 and PMRC was inaugurated in Nov 2014 at ABSTC, Taloja. The unit has ISO 9001 & ISO 14001 certification for more than 10 years. Its domestic sales is around 20% and balance 80% is exported to countries around the globe. It operates in a Buyer s market with a global market share of 2% only. The market is dominated by big players like Dow, Hexion, Huntsman and Nanya. The job demands proactive response  to  changing     market  needs  and     focusing  on  higher-end     products and  favorable  market     segments  for  providing     better  contribution.  The     job  demands a high level understanding of customer’s technical & functional requirements for ensuring an acceptable quality level. 

The Job position required : 

  • Knowledge of business processes, management, budgeting, hardware platform, enterprise software application with Good process integration capabilities.
  • Proven experience in IT planning, Architecture, organisation and development.
  • Excellent understanding and execution ability of project management.
  • Ability to motivate in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Ability to take timely initiatives in implementing technology changes for business benefit.

  • Unification  of  SAP S-4 / HANA  across the units to have unified processes and workimg culture.
  • Consolidation of reports and MIS
  • Exploration, evaluation of latest information technology and continuous value addition and change management due to fast obsolescence and technology upgradation.
  • Define IT architecture and align with business / Group IT strategy. Instigate and implement IT policies and procedures to comply with Business / group requirements.
  • Drive the organization towards less paper office also increased access of data for business decision making

  • To plan and manage security measures to safeguard information in computer files against accidental or unauthorized modification or access, destruction or disclosure.

 

  • Direct development and execution of an enterprise-wide disaster recovery and business continuity plan.

 

 

  1. Plan & conduct Audit information security thru 3P.
  2. Review, Monitor & Ensure implementation of quality measures or IT processes for programming, program modification, data modification, information access.
  3. Monitor complete secrecy of administrator password, user password and various server password.
  4. Develop plan to review access rights by business users & periodic changes of password.
  5. Review timely updation of anti-virus software.
  6. Plan, Implement and maintain disaster recovery site & managing fall back infrastructure.
  7. Ensure scrutinizing of logs, network traffic, and user activity audit thru security administrator.

Head IT (Vilayat - India) –     Leverage IT and Technology to drive productivity, transparency and collaboration for Plant Manufacturing, Marketing Application, Logistics Application, Customer Centricity and Application Security System under SAP S-4 / HANA for Vilayat Unit

Anchor the Vilayat Unit  and help CIO to leverage Digitization to improve overall Unit performance, especially yield, throughput and working capital (though better planning/transparency of stock)

 SAP Delivery Head (Mumbai) - Responsible for project delivery and operational acceptance of solutions deployed into production. Ensure the adherence of standards and SAP best practices. Maintain regular contact with vendor SAP Basis and infrastructure team regarding work progress for India / Thailand / Germany / US and China.

 SH IT (Thailand) –  Plan, organise and maintain IT solutions to ensure uninterrupted and easy availability of information base for facilitating processing, maintenance of records/data which help in management control, decision-making and optimization of cost, time, resources for Vilayat Project.

 Executive IT (Germany) – Plan,Organise and maintain IT solution for CTP. Position will be responsible for maintaining complete IT Imfrastructure and Cyber security for CTP.
