Head Retail Business Development, Fast Fashion, Bangalore


Job Description:

To plan, strategize and proactively acquire retail space while keeping abreast of retail expansion opportunities across various geographies. At the same time catering to the demands of 8 different brands of Madura Fashion & Lifestyle wrt store size, price points and relative space availability to deliver high quality distribution and growth within allocated budgets.

Create the budgeted retail space as per the brand requirements

 � Network with shopping malls and identify the right location Hi-streets and malls for MG

� Be in continuous look out at opportunities in operational malls

� Identify sweet spots on high streets

� Maintain good PR with all the developers/property consultants

� Network with property consultants & competition

� Finalize retail space in consultation with brands

� Identify alternatives and evaluate financial and other impact

� Liaison with Finance, Legal & Brand teams

Forecasting future spaces in potential markets

 � Study relevant markets to understand business potential

� Create visibility of all upcoming malls

� Continuously monitor competition and market activities

� Map spaces as per current and forecasted requirements

� Maintain relationships with owners of commercial properties to shortlist potential market places


Qualifications:
Graduate/ Post Graduate
