Repairman

Job Description:
Repair/replace/maintain (RPM) pumps, gearboxes, motors, etc.
Work special projects and turnarounds.
Design, fabricate, and modify equipment as necessary.
Perform housekeeping as needed.
Work overtime, respond promptly to call-outs, and work in any type of weather.
Diagnose problems and implement corrective action.
Work as a member of the maintenance team and
learn new skills and share knowledge with others and inspect area for safety, quality, and environmental issues.
Performs any other tasks as required or directed.  Respond promptly to after hours call-outs.

Qualifications:
Working knowledge of most hand tools.
Knowledge and understanding of CCC safety rules (ie: lock out/tag out, confined space, etc)  Must demonstrate safe work practices.
Working knowledge of use and care of an acetylene torch.
Must not have physical restrictions which may prohibit one from performing work or cause concern for doing work safely
Must be familiar with power transmission equipment maintenance, able to repair, change & align bearings, V-belts, sheaves, chains, sprockets, shafts, gears, and oil seals. 
Be Familiar with plant process and equipment and the lubrication of this equipment.
Must be able to effectively read and use micrometers and run out gauges as tools in millwright work.
Ability to start and complete tasks in a timely manner and seek help, guidance, education when confronted with complex tasks.
Must be able to read, understand & perform all written procedures in a satisfactory manner..  Must be able to climb ladders, bend and lift weights up to 50 pounds as necessary to perform the job.  Must be able to work effectively with other departments.
