Background on the Role:

Pantaloons South Zone aims to add 45+ stores over next 2 years. The purpose of this role is to identify, analyze and procure retail space in alignment to organizations expansion plans, support existing store with renewals and manage stakeholders like agents, landlords, developers, legal resources and operations. 

 

 

Responsibilities:

  • To identify, analyze and procure retail space in alignment to organizations expansion plans 
  • Support existing store with renewals and manage stakeholders like agents landlords, developers, legal resources and operations
  • Create the budgeted retail space as per the format requirements to support business expansion plans
  • Providing support for smooth day to day operations /New Store Opening to ensure adherence to expansion plans
  • Forecasting future spaces in potential markets for business growth
  • To ensure that the expansion of Pantaloons stores happens as per agreed plan
  • Assist in finding good properties at right locations with financial viability
  • Liaison & relationship building with brokers, developers and arrive at mutually agreeable terms & conditions

Qualifications:

Qualifications/Competencies:

  • Graduate/Post Graduate
  • Minimum 8 to 12 years of experience in Business Development space
  • Excellent negotiation skills, strong stake holder management (external & internal), market knowledge of retail space in the country, excellent presentation & communication skills

Minimum Experience Level:
9 - 12 Years
