Job Description:
Job Purpose:
To be proactive and maintain good liaison between Management and labour through proper and timely communication. To make a plan and monitor Labour Welfare Activities Labour Administration and Labour Relation

Job Context & challenges: 
1. Face militant Trade Unionism
2. Tackling multilingual and multicultural labour
3. Manage Local problems hindering the business activities time to time
4. Handling large percentage of uneducated labour
5. Arrange hands engagement in marriage season 
6. bring down accidents to zero. 

Key Accountibilities
1. Labour Welfare Activites: 
    a) Preparation of plan & implementation of annual welfare activities like  
         games & sports, recreation activities, celebration of various pujas, school  
         activites, cleanliness drives, 
2. Coordination with Medical Office for Health related requirements
    a) to follow up & coordinate health related activities through dispensary
    b) attend to accident victims, ESI treatment cases, workmen medical 
         emergencies, assist & organize welfare camps etc
3. Ensuring adherence to Safety Rules
    a) To ensure that the workmen are made aware of usage of PPE & safety 
         rules adherence through constant counselling & monitoring
    b) Routine monitoring of shop floor & identification & reporting on unsafe 
        conditions and unsafe work practices
4. Labour Administration
     a) Handling workmen grievance
     b) handling leave with wages applications
     c) Rationalization & hands adjustments
5. Local area development
     a) Grievance reporting
     b) Upkeep & upgradation of worker's & staff housing colony
     c) Staff & Worker's Quarters allocation & upkeep
     d) Bachelor's hostel allocation & upkeep

Diploma in Labour Welfare with Viva Voce qualification 

Minimum Experience Level:
6 - 8 Years
