Job Description:

Job Purpose

The job purpose of Brand Financial Analyst involves monitoring  & reporting business parameter ; high light periodically risks/opportunities in the business based on lead/lag metrics and to support business by providing real-time MIS & help with all financial analysis that could result in improved decision making.

Financial Reporting


Responsible for overall financial analysis and reporting   for the individual SBU and its sub brands and divisions

Develop, analyze and review the Brand Income statement, by sub brand, product and channel wise.

Track and help SBU manage its spends with in budgeted norms

Develop dash board for each of the key deliverables of SBU and monitor against the same and guide the SBU in achieving the same by providing timely, accurate information as may be required by the SBU

Coordinate with Central MIS team for giving them required input and support from time to time as may be required.

Help in develop monthly LE, Quarterly LE, Annual Budgets, Projections as may be required from time to time

Retail Analysis



Develop trackers to monitor retail performance by various parameters that may be relevant for the SBU and Retail Director.

Develop Retail space acquisition justification as per Company policy (IRR Sheet) backed by adequate data.

Marketing and Sales Analysis

Support SBU COO in terms of analysis of Discount Schemes to be run in the market, their impact on income statement, payback period and track spends against the same.

Support in terms of Sales Promotion analysis, running in the market � retail, trade, departmental stores, liquidation channel etc

Develop Market scheme trackers, manage over and under spends by each scheme

Develop system to track credit history of the customers, inventory movement with them

Track and help SBU manage its spends with in budgeted norms

Pricing and Inventory

Support in price point fixation by product for every season

Monitor and analyze and track performance against Trade Shows. help manage cost within budgeted norms

Develop trackers for Samples generation, inventory and sales.

Monitor competition performance.

Help in purchase price fixation with Sourcing Company keeping Central MIS team in loop and in guidance.

Develop, analyze and monitor the inventory by location and support operations in liquidation of the same.

Develop tools to monitor and help control inventory by location both FG and RM.



Minimum Experience Level:
3 - 5 Years
